Directions to the Stumps B&B

Travelling on the South Eastern Freeway, take the Mt Barker exit and turn right. Pass through Mt Barker (3 traffic lights, and two roundabouts). Follow the road sign “Strathalbyn via Wistow”. Leave Mt Barker High School on the right and the Mt Barker show grounds on the left. Continue on this road until you reach Wistow (deli on right, town hall on the left). Turn right at the Wistow T-junction towards Strathalbyn.
Travel for about 14 km, passing over the railway crossing. Turn into Gemmell Rd, which is the first road after the railway crossing. You will see a sign “The Stumps B&B at the Gemmell Rd. turn off. Travel for about 1.8 km. Turn left into Hillview Rd., a dirt track.
Travel on Hillview Road for about 1.5 km until you see a small track leading to the right with a sign “The Sumps B&B”. Our property is the first on the right. It will feel like you are off the beaten track. That’s exactly right. There is a cow skull on the fence post and our grid no is 055 034. Please close both gates there are animals in the paddocks.

Travel through Clarendon, Kangarilla and Meadows. Outside Meadows, take the road on the left to Macclesfield. Once in Macclesfield drive across the main intersection, leaving the CFS on the left and Primary School on the right. This is Gemmell Road. Travel on Gemmell Road for about 3km. Gemmell Rd will at one stage turn into a short section of gravel Road. Stay on this road for a further 500m and turn right into Hillview Rd. You will see a sign post for The Stumps B&B at the intersection of Gemmell Road/Hillview Road..
