The Stumps is a stunning boutique Bed and Breakfast idyllically framed amidst majestic gums, rolling hills and native bush land located just 45 minutes from Adelaide’s CBD. It isminutes outside the historic township of Macclesfield and within a short drive to Strathalbyn, Hahndorf and Langhorne Creek. This charming, spacious studio is the ideal escape for a romantic weekend or a short holiday.
At the Stumps, you will find an innovative and luxurious décor combining antiques, contemporary furnishings and an inspiring flow of space. The Stumps offers two spacious rooms, each opening to a private courtyard via French doors, which can accommodate up to four guests.
The main bedroom features a comfortable Queen sized bed fitted with warm blankets and doonas covered in crisp linen. During the winter months, dual control electric blankets are provided for your added comfort. All rooms are fully climate controlled and are fitted with inverter reverse cycle air-conditioners for ultimate quiet comfort.
A special feature of the studio is the full sized bathroom, with feature windows, that allow you to watch the birds while taking a relaxing bath using specially provided essential oils and spa products.
The spacious open plan living room offers a comfortable sitting area with a sofa-bed that can accommodate an additional two guests. The living area is equipped with a TV and DVD and a range of games and books for your entertainment. The adjacent kitchenette provides you with the choice of a broad selection of teas, freshly ground coffee and a selection of instant hot and cold drinks. Equipped with a microwave and some basic cooking utensils, you can prepare your own meals or you can choose to eat out at the many local restaurants, coffee shops and dining rooms at local cellar doors.
